 Day 01 Arrive Bangalore Arrive at the Bangalore Airport where our representative welcomes you and escorts you to the hotel. Freshen up and leave for a guided tour through the picturesque ‘City of Gardens’. Visit Tipu Sultan’s Palace, the summer residence of King Tipu Sultan, built in wood and tastefully adorned with intricately sculptured arches and minarets. Proceed to the famous Nandi or Bull Temple, one of the oldest in South India, Lal Bagh, Ulsoor Lake, Cubbon Park and Vidhana Soudha, headquarters of State Legislature and Secretariat.


Stroll through Venkatappa Art Gallery, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Vishweshwaraiah Museum and Utility Building Bangalore is the capital and the largest city of the Indian state of Karnataka. It is also called “Garden City” for its beautiful gardens, flowers and trees which flourish in each and every street. The modern city of Bangalore ‘Bengaluru’ was founded by Kempe Gowda, the Vijayanagar Chieftain of Yelahanga, over 400years ago. But ancient inscriptions points to the existence of a village called ‘Bengaluru’ prior to the 10th century AD. In 1807 the British shifted their cantonment from Srirangapatnam to Bangalore.


The 19th century saw Bangalore growing into an administrative center and a prime residential area. Mysore State was acceded to the Indian Union in 1947 with Bangalore as its capital. In 1973 Mysore State was renamed Karnataka. Overnight in Bangalore


Day 02 Drive from Bangalore to Mysore After a leisurely breakfast, drive to Mysore visiting Tipu Sultan’s capital city – Srirangapatnam, home to splendid monuments, Channapatna Toys Center and Ranganathaswamy Temple on the way.


Reach Mysore and transfer to hotel. After lunch, proceed for a sightseeing tour through the ‘old capital town’. Visit Mysore Palace, an architectural beauty exemplifying the grandeur of the kings of the time. The flood lit Brindavan Gardens and Krishnarajasagar Dam at night will leave you spellbound.


Return to hotel for your overnight stay. Mysore is the cultural capital of the state of Karnataka. The city is known for its majestic, mystical and mesmerizing beauty. Until 1947, Mysore was the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore was ruled by the Wodeyar dynasty, except for a 40-year era in the 18th century when Haidar Ali and Tipu Sultan were the de facto rulers of the province.


The Wodeyars were patrons of art and culture and contributed significantly to the cultural growth of the city, which has led to Mysore earning the sobriquet Cultural capital of Karnataka. Overnight in Mysore


Day 03 Drive from Mysore to Ooty After breakfast, leave for a guided sightseeing tour. Today you will visit Shri Jayachamarajendra Art Gallery to witness a rich collection of ancient paintings and musical instruments. Proceed to the serene St. Philomena’s Church, one of India’s largest churches beautifully built in Gothic style, Chamundi Hills, abode of Goddess Chamundeshwari, the deity of Mysore royal family, is an important pilgrimage site.


Late afternoon, drive to the picturesque Ooty hill station. Transfer to hotel upon arrival for overnight stay. Udhagamandalam, popularly known as ‘Ooty’, the capital of Nilgiri district, is the “Queen of hill stations’ in India. The establishment of numerous tea estates made Ooty famous. Lofty mountains, dense forest, sprawling grasslands and miles and miles of tea gardens greet the passengers on most routes. The annual Tea and Tourism Festival attracts crowds in huge numbers.


Day 04 A day in Ooty for visits Breakfast at the hotel Spend the entire day at ease exploring the inexplicable beauty of the scenic resort at Ooty Leave for post-breakfast guided sightseeing tour to Botanical Gardens, home to rare trees, shrubs and a wide variety of beautiful flowers flanked by a serene Lotus Pond. Proceed to Dodda Betta, the highest peak in Ooty, lush Conoor Tea Gardens, Dolphin’s Nose, the favorite picnic spot offering stunning vistas of Catherine Falls, Ooty Lake, Lamb’s Rock and Kodanadu’s View Point


Day 05 Drive from Ooty to Bangalore. Depart Bangalore After a leisurely breakfast, check -out from the hotel and proceed for Bangalore. The distance of 265kms would normally take around 5hrs Upon arrival you will be dropped at the Airport to board the onward flight back home
